Away from the stressful daily routine, located on the banks of the Saale River, you are free to spend your leisure time as you wish.

Kains Hof is situated in the idyllic town of Weißen (Thüringen). It is only a few minutes drive from the 'Autobahn' 4 Jena / Göschwitz. Also the classical Rudolstadt is not far.

Very conveniently located between Jena, Weimar, Rudolstadt and Saalfeld, in Kains Hof you will experience a peaceful atmosphere, where you can enjoy pure relaxation and recreation.

The small Spa area consisting of Whirlpool, Sauna, Solarium and Gym (opening in October 2009) is available to our guests at all times. Massages are available upon request.

Away from our lovingly restored half-timbered house, motorcyclists, cyclists and walkers can discover the beautiful landscapes around the Thuringian Slate Mountains and the Thuringian Forest. Guided tours are provided free of charge.

If you get into a spell of bad weather our Hotel provides a drying room so that you can start the next day with dry clothing.

After a wonderful day exploring or relaxing in the countryside you may like to dine in our Restaurant where you will enjoy freshly prepared hearty dishes. Weather permitting, meals are also served in our tranquil courtyard beer garden.

The separate function room can be booked for celebrations, conferences and events for up to 80 guests.
